Park Empire puts you in charge of a small amusement park that still has plenty of room to grow. At the beginning, there are only a few attractions and not many visitors walking through the gates. The money they spend becomes your main source of income, so the idea is simple: earn, spend it on the park, and earn a little more next time.
What makes the game more interesting is that every upgrade has a knock-on effect. A better ride can bring in more money, but if the parking area is too small, those extra visitors may never reach it. As the park gets bigger, new attractions and areas appear, including a water park with larger rides.
There isn't much to memorize here. You'll spend more time watching the park and deciding where the next bit of money should go.
Your first job is to get the existing attractions earning. Put some of that money back into rides such as the shooting gallery, then watch how the extra income changes the pace of your progress.
Parking becomes important surprisingly quickly. When more people start arriving, a small parking area can hold the whole park back. Expanding it gives the extra visitors somewhere to go, while security cameras and guards can also improve parking income.
After that, the park starts opening up. New attractions and larger sections give you more ways to make money, and the water park becomes one of the bigger goals to work toward. Investor Johnson's objectives are useful here because they give you something specific to work on when several upgrades are available at once.
The biggest mistake is usually putting all the money into one impressive attraction. Park Empire works better when the whole operation grows together. More rides bring attention, parking lets more people arrive, and supporting facilities help turn those visitors into steady income.
