In Bounce Blast, getting a strong start is only half the battle. You play as a luchador wrestler who escapes from a wrestling ring and soars through the air, smashing gummy bears along the way. Your goal is to get as far as you can and recover the magical cookbook stolen by the gummy army. Every flight you get coins and chances to improve your next run.
The first launch can make a big difference. Pull back the ring ropes and release when the meter reaches its highest point. A Perfect Launch gives your wrestler more speed right from the beginning.
Once you're airborne, click to perform a Rocket Slam. This move sends you down into nearby gummies, crushing them and bouncing back up. However, the ability has limited energy. Using it when there are no targets below can waste a useful charge.
Not every gummy is just an obstacle. Some can help you to travel further or get some extra rewards.
When Jelly Roger and Lt. Jel E. Boom get hit, they explode with power. Teddy Flare sends your wrestler sky high. Wannabear restores one Rocket Slam energy slot, making it a useful target when your supply runs low.
Other encounters require quick reactions. Puncheus Pilot and Gumdalf trigger clicking challenges that can improve your bounce or reward you with gold chests. Watch out for the Gummy Police, though. Hitting them without an active Slam can bring your momentum to a sudden stop.
Coins earned during a run can be spent on upgrades to speed, elasticity, starting energy, and shield durability. These upgrades make a noticeable difference when trying to reach greater distances.
It's worth improving your weaker stats instead of spending everything on one upgrade. Also, collect cookbook pages to unlock new wrestlers such as Pineapple Spank and El Pollo, along with additional support gummies.
