About Krillion.io

Krillion.io is a daily trivia puzzle by indie developer Jing Lee, released in August 2026. It runs in a web browser and gives every player the same seven questions each day.

The twist is simple: being correct is only half the job. You also want an answer that few people would think of. It feels like trivia turned upside down. The obvious response may keep you safe, but a forgotten city, name, or fact can push your score much further.

That makes each round a mix of memory, general knowledge, and risk.

How Krillion.io Gameplay Works

Answer Seven Daily Questions With Unusual Responses

Each daily run contains seven open-ended prompts covering subjects such as geography and pop culture. There are no multiple-choice options to rescue you.

You type an answer in English before the short timer expires. Your first submission counts, so check the spelling before pressing Enter. A blank box or bad guess can leave you with nothing for that question.

A useful habit is to ignore your first obvious idea for a moment. Ask yourself, “What else fits?” That second answer is often more valuable.

Unlock Deeper Ocean Exploration Through Rare Answers

Your performance is shown as a dive. Predictable replies leave you closer to the surface, while uncommon ones can carry you farther down.

  • Stay safe: If you are short on time, guess the answer you know to be correct.

  • Dig deeper: When you have time, think of more than well-known cities, people, or names.

  • Stay accurate: An obscure guess has no value when it is wrong or misspelled.

  • Aim high: Give a valid answer no other player uses that day, and you can reach One in a Krillion.

The fun comes from deciding how far to push your luck.

Combine Fast Thinking With Creative Guesswork

The countdown creates the real pressure. You may know several valid answers but have only seconds to choose one.

Start with something correct, then search your memory for a less predictable alternative. For a location question, for example, a smaller place may beat the famous city everyone remembers first.

This balance between trivia knowledge, quick recall, rarity, and strategy gives the daily quiz its replay appeal.
