About Bowmasters: Archery Shooting

Bowmasters: Archery Shooting is a 2D shooting game from Playgendary, first released in 2016. Instead of firing continuously, you and your opponent take turns throwing weapons at each other. It plays like a slingshot showdown where your opponent can fire back at you. Aiming looks easy at first. The tricky part is judging how far your weapon will travel and making each turn count.

Highlight Features

  • Choose Your Fighter: The game features over 60 characters. Each has its own weapon, so switching fighters can change how you approach a battle.
  • Land a Better Shot: Aiming at an opponent's head can deal extra damage. Still, any useful hit is better than wasting a turn on a risky throw.
  • Try Different Modes: Tournament mode lets you face computer-controlled rivals. Apple Shooting is less forgiving than it looks, while Bird Hunt asks you to hit moving targets.
  • Earn Coins – Play out battles and finish moves to win rewards and unlock more characters.
  • Experiment with Weapons: Some attacks go in a straight line; others have unique effects that take time to learn.

Guide Controls

  • Drag: Pull back to select your angle and power of throw.
  • Release: Throw the weapon at your opponent.
  • Tap: Activate an extra effect when the selected weapon supports it.

Tips for Easier Gameplay

  • Check Your Last Throw: Did it land short or fly too far? Use that result to make your next adjustment.
  • Change One Thing: Alter the angle first, or change the power. Doing both together makes it harder to work out what went wrong.
  • Don't Chase Every Headshot: Aiming high can pay off, but repeated misses give your opponent easy chances to attack.
  • Get Used to One Weapon: Spend a few rounds getting used to its range before switching to another fighter.
  • Keep Some Coins: Characters are fun to unlock, but knowing how to use the one you have can be just as useful.
