Poople is a daily word ladder game that challenges you to turn one 4-letter word into POOP by changing only a single letter at each step. Sounds simple... until you realize one careless move can trap you in a dead end with nowhere left to go.
After spending time with several daily puzzles, the biggest surprise wasn't finding valid words. It was figuring out which good-looking words quietly ruined the rest of the route. Some paths feel perfect for the first few moves, then suddenly you have no clean way to reach the goal.
A fresh puzzle appears every day at 08:00 UTC, and every player receives the same starting word. No downloads, no account, just open your browser and start solving.
Every Move Changes the Puzzle
Unlike guessing games, Poople is all about planning. You can only replace one letter at a time, and every new word has to exist in the dictionary. The target never changes—it's always POOP—but the starting word is different every day.
The shortest possible solution is called par. Reach POOP in par, and you've played the puzzle perfectly. Take extra steps, and your score drops. That tiny scoring system adds far more strategy than it first appears.
After testing a few rounds, it became clear that rushing usually creates longer paths. Slowing down for just a second to compare two or three possible words often saves several unnecessary moves later.
