Skip It! is a distance-based arcade stone skipping game where your goal is simple: throw an object across water and make it travel as far as possible. The gameplay focuses on timing, steering control, and smart upgrades. Each throw earns money based on distance, which you use to improve your stats and push for bigger records.
It feels easy at first. Hold, aim, release. But once you start chasing higher meters, you realize this game is all about rhythm and precision.
Every round follows a clear flow:
Prepare – Hold and drag to set launch power
Release – Time it perfectly for maximum force
Steer mid-air – Move left or right to avoid rocks
Finish – Sink and collect rewards
The first few throws feel casual. Then you start missing perfect timing by a split second and losing 20–30 meters. That’s when it gets addictive.
I learned quickly that oversteering kills momentum. Smooth movements keep the stone gliding longer.
PC Controls
Hold the left mouse button – drag down to aim
Release – throw
Move the mouse left/right – steer
Mobile Controls
Tap and hold – aim
Release – launch
Drag left/right – adjust direction
The controls are responsive. But timing the power bar at its peak takes practice. Miss the sweet spot, and your run ends early.
The progression system is where Skip It! gameplay shines.
You can upgrade:
Strength – Higher launch force
Speed – Maintain momentum longer
Skipping – Better bounce efficiency
Offline Earning – Passive income
From my experience, early investment in Strength and Skipping gives the biggest boost. Speed matters later.
A common mistake is upgrading evenly. Focused upgrades push you further, faster.
Release at maximum power for strong early momentum
Keep steering gently to avoid slowing down
Aim for energy portals to extend the distance
Watch obstacles early, not at the last second
Use passive income between sessions
One run I remember clearly: I passed through two energy portals back-to-back and nearly doubled my record. It felt earned, not random.
