Pokepath TD deviates from conventional tower defense games by introducing Pokémon units in place of the fixed towers. Upon deployment along a path, the Pokémon in your team will take turns attacking the enemies automatically, using their respective powers and positions. The different Pokémon have different functions with their assigned roles, and also possess unique passive skills and interactions with other Pokémon, which consequently makes team building a primary factor in taking the win.
The game consists of 9 separate routes, each with 100 enemy waves to fight. After the path is completed, a legendary boss Pokémon will be encountered, thus giving a clear objective to each turn and feeding the player's feeling of progression.
The control is very simple as it is all done with the mouse, but the player's decision-making process is quite complex.
New players often fall into the trap of spreading their resources too thin. Investing heavily in a few Pokémon to make them super powerful is often the way to go in Pokepath TD, rather than upgrading everything evenly.

The rotation system, this way, turns into a safe environment for trying things and learning through mistakes in Pokémon development.
Pokepath TD provides you with a lot of extra time to play:
There is also an Auto Mode, so you can just let it go and proceed with grinding attack waves when AFK and slowly build up your team.
Absolutely, it's a game played in a web browser, and there is no need for a download.
