Each stroke is not only a tool to collect evidence but also a journey to uncover the main character's sad past.
Set in the early 20th century, Death Sketchbook boasts a classic and gloomy art style, which creates a unique atmosphere. The game is short (only about 5-10 minutes per turn), but it is enough to draw you into an attractive storyline, where every detail has meaning.
How to play
- Start by selecting a drawing tool from the list of items to support the investigation.
- Memorize statements and details from the crime scene to recreate them in a visual representation.
- Based on the clues and information gathered, determine what and where to draw.
- Use your mouse or touch to draw key elements, which will open up further clues.
- The plot will change depending on your level of accuracy and interpretation of the case.
Mouse Actions
- Left Click → Pencil – Use the left mouse button to start drawing.
- Right Click → Magnifying Glass – Use the right mouse button to investigate or examine objects more closely.
- Tab → Notebook/Page Icon – Press Tab to open or switch to your sketchbook or notes.
- Eraser Icon – Likely refers to using an eraser tool, perhaps activated within the sketch mode.
Keyboard Actions
- ← / → Arrows – Navigate between pages or sketches (probably in your notebook).
- Book Icon – Represents reading or accessing story content or case files.
- A → Z – Scroll through different objects, clues, or tool options alphabetically.
