About GAVRIL

GAVRIL is a unique short horror visual novel that blends unsettling experiences with a dash of humor. In this game, you find yourself waking up to a loud crash coming from downstairs, with a broken object at the source. Normally, you’d chalk this up to a pet or a sibling causing mischief, but the catch is—you're completely alone. With no one to blame, you have no choice but to investigate the mysterious sound.

This visual novel takes you through a chilling encounter with a home intruder, but with a satirical twist. The character of Gavril—featured in this game—is a key figure from the creator’s larger story BUBO, which will eventually expand into more games. While GAVRIL presents itself as a horror experience, it has its comedic moments that lighten the otherwise tense atmosphere.

The game offers a range of possible outcomes—six different endings in total—depending on your choices, adding replayability for those eager to uncover every possible scenario.

The horror elements include loud sounds, strong language, death scenes, and jumpscares, making it not for the faint-hearted. However, the overall tone of the game leans more toward satirical, with humor providing some light relief from the tension.
