CaptchaWare is an extremely short game where you have to complete a series of CAPTCHA in a very short amount of time. No storyline. No characters. No upgrades.
The idea for the game came from… a joke. And the author doesn't hide that. This game is made for fun, to test your reflexes, and to see if you can handle the pressure of seemingly familiar things.
Don't expect a big game. This is a game to play quickly – lose quickly.
Real gameplay: simple but not easy
Essentially, each turn is a series of CAPTCHA appearing continuously. Your task:
- Read the instructions quickly
- React immediately
- Answer correctly before time runs out
Sounds easy? Not at all.
The CAPTCHA in the game doesn't give you enough time to think carefully. If you're half a second slow or read a word incorrectly, the game ends immediately.
