About Shift At Midnight

In Shift At Midnight, you play as a night shift worker at a quiet, lonely roadside outpost, or at least that's how it starts. It's more than just checking IDs or selling snacks. It's about reading people, sensing danger, and reacting before it's too late. A routine quickly devolves into a night of creeping fear and growing paranoia. Any consumer could pose a risk or simply be an innocent bystander. Your choices are more important than ever.

Interactive gameplay that puts your judgment to the test

Shift At Midnight's core is a mix of logical reasoning and survival reactions. There is a need to match the customers' IDs, compare their answers to the documents, and adjudicate a response. Raising too many concerns could make them paranoid. You could wish you had kept quiet if you fail to notice a hint.

The gameplay shifts as the tension increases. Threats become more apparent. Flashing lights, warping stations, and new survival mechanisms are activated, barricading doors, turning off lights, or hiding in the shadows. Mastering the layout and using items wisely can mean the difference between escape and death.

How to Survive

  • Commence with document verification: Examine the names, dates, and images. Approach all inquiries with caution.
  • Watch for discrepancies: Is the vehicle consistent with the delivery document? Are they overly nervous?
  • If the customer seems dangerous, respond by blocking the exit, turning off the lights, or hiding.
  • Your immediate surroundings can help: Lockable cabinets, radios, and flashlights can serve both helpful and harmful functions.
  • Change conduct every night: Adaptable tasks, resources, and behaviors await the user every night.
